As part of the lead-up to the 2026 Pokemon World Championships the following week, we’re excited to host a full day of Pokemon-themed activities, tournaments, and more! Be sure to sign up for the tournaments and trivia fast– space is limited for them! Prizes for the carnival games will be while supplies last, and these don’t require pre-registration.
Be sure to sign up ahead of time for a Play! Pokemon account and Trainer ID number at join.pokemon.com (this is required for a lot of our events, so it’s good to have!) Players under age 13 will need their parents to create an account, then create a Child Account from within that.
This event is recommended for all ages 6+ who are interested in Pokemon, and for those who would like to learn more about the different ways the Omar’s World of Comics community plays!

Teams may have 1-4 members, and the questions will be good for a mix of ages. Players may only be registered to one team.
Prizing will be in the form of Omar’s World of Comics gift cards, TCG booster packs, and/or promotional Pokemon items for the top 2 teams, based on participation.

- The theme for this contest is “VACATION”! Be sure to have your art in by 6pm Friday 8/14!
Calling all artists! Draw your best Pokemon art on an 8.5″x11″ paper, (or print it at that size) to be displayed at Omar’s during the Carnival. At 6pm Saturday we will announce the winners in each age division, and each will get a gift card to Omar’s World of Comics and other great Pokemon prizes! NO AI ART TOOLS ARE ALLOWED! All work must be original and appropriate!
