You are invited to a book launch for the newest bilingual English-Arabic children’s book from the Lajee Center!
A pair of cats stroll through their neighborhood. A group of children gather to make art and tell their community’s story.
Please join us for the book launch of Let’s Walk Together, a new bilingual children’s book created by children at the Lajee Center, in the Aida Refugee Camp, Palestine. All ages welcome from 9 to 99 years (and beyond)! The project coordinator, Amahl Bishara, will be on hand for a reading, Q&A, and an arts and outreach activity. We will also share the beautiful embroidery of the Falastiniyat Cooperative, made by women in Aida.
